NOTE **Laser engraving involves making permanent, deep marks on an item.  The laser removes layers from the surface of the material in order to produce the artwork.  With that said, the image may appear dark in colour initially as the laser beam reacted with the wood.  However, over time, the image will return to a more natural colour (closer to the colour of the engraved surface) since the dark pigment is removed as the item is washed.**

Due to tonal variations in the wood the laser engraving will vary from one item to the next and will likely vary in the same item.
