A setup fee is the cost associated with the creation of a dye, plate, screen, or other fixture that is used in our machines to print your artwork on your desired item. It is the cost of running the machines and customising your products.  It is a once-off fee that is not paid again for future orders, if you order the exact same product with the exact same artwork again.

For etching, or laser engraving items, setup involves manipulating the logo for the laser machine.

For Ink-printed items (i.e pad printing or screen printing), multiple setup fees will apply.  Because of the process used in screen printing, a screen must be created for each part of your imprint that’s a different color or location.

For example, if you are printing a t-shirt with a four color imprint on the front and a 2 color imprint on the back, you would have a total of 6 setup fees.

If you order a pen, tote bag and t-shirt with the same logo, it maybe natural to think that there is only 1 setup fee. In reality, the imprint area for all 3 items are different, the machines used are different, and therefore there is a need to charge 3 setup fees. We will need to go through the logo 3 times to prepare the screens required.

If you have not supplied your artwork in the correct format and within the correct template, or if you have only supplied a concept but no artwork, we would need to assign and pay for a resource to spend time creating or preparing your artwork for printing. The design fee goes towards paying this resource for graphic design services.

If no template is required but the artwork still needs to be prepared by us (due to low quality, or size is too small, or changes are required to the current artwork submitted) the design fee will also be applied.

If your artwork needs to be designed by us, you will have an option to make 2 reviews before printing.  Any additional reviews will attract an additional design cost which must be settled before we proceed with printing.  The same applies to changes requested for current artwork supplied to us.

LEGEND RANGE: If you are looking for products with increased durability, then you need to consider products from this range.  They are slightly heavier in weight, compared to the products in our Champion range.

OVATION RANGE: This is our top tier range and it houses high-end products of premium quality.  Products in this range come with maximum durability.
